INI-CET November 2025 Open Round Reporting Dates

The final phase of the admission process for the INI-CET November 2025 session has reached a critical stage today. Following the announcement of the Open Round seat allotment results on February 21, the physical reporting process is now officially underway. Candidates who have been lucky enough to secure a seat in this last round must visit their allotted medical college to complete the admission work. This reporting period started this morning and will remain open until February 28, 2026.

The INI-CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) is a very prestigious exam. It is organized by AIIMS New Delhi for students who want to become specialists in fields like surgery, medicine, or dental sciences. The Open Round is often seen as the last hope for many students because it fills the very last remaining seats in top colleges like AIIMS, JIPMER, and PGIMER. Because these seats are limited, the board follows very strict rules for reporting.

What to Do After Seat Allotment

If you have been allotted a seat, your first job today is to log in to the official AIIMS exam portal using your ID and password. Once you log in, you must "Accept" the seat online. After accepting, you will be able to download your "Offer Letter." This letter is the most important paper you need to carry when you travel to the college.

According to the reporting guidelines, you cannot just send your documents by email or post. You must be there in person. If a student fails to reach the institute by the deadline of February 28, their seat will be canceled automatically. This seat will then be given to someone else in a spot round if necessary. The college authorities will check your face and fingerprints to make sure you are the same person who wrote the exam.

List of Participating Institutes and Documents

There are several participating institutes across India where students are currently reporting. These include the 19 AIIMS campuses, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum. Each of these places has a special "Admission Desk" set up to help the new doctors.

  • Required Papers: You must carry your original 10th and 12th mark sheets, your MBBS or BDS degree, and your internship completion certificate.
  • Medical Registration: You need your permanent or provisional registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Identity Proof: A valid photo ID like an Aadhaar Card or Passport is mandatory.
  • Photographs: Carry at least 6 to 10 recent passport-sized photos with a white background.

Important Tips for a Smooth Admission

The reporting process can take a whole day because there are many forms to fill. Candidates are advised to reach the city where their college is located at least one day before they plan to report. This gives you enough time to organize your papers and find the exact location of the dean's office.

  • Check the Fee: Some colleges require you to pay the admission fee immediately via a demand draft or online transfer. Check the college website for the exact amount.
  • Original vs. Copies: While you must show the original papers for verification, you should also carry three sets of photocopies.
  • Health Check: Some participating institutes might ask you to undergo a basic medical fitness test conducted by their own doctors before final admission.

In conclusion, this is a very happy time for those who have finally cleared the INI-CET journey. The Open Round is the final gate to enter India’s best medical institutions. By following the rules and reaching on time, you can ensure that your hard work results in a successful career.
