The National Board of Examination (NBE) organizes the Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma Centralized Entrance Test, known as DNB PDCET 2026, for admission to 1,073 seats in 14 specialties at 597 hospitals throughout India. The exam took place on July, and the results were announced on August. Only those who pass the exam can take part in the DNB PDCET counselling process run by NBE. The counselling will be based on the merit achieved in the entrance test for specific specialties.

DNB-PDCET is a crucial entrance exam for admission to post-diploma DNB (broad specialties) postgraduate courses. Admit Card

The DNB PDCET admit card 2026 is issued by the exam authority to all registered candidates. This admit card is important as it shows the test centres assigned to each candidate. To enter the exam center, candidates must bring the following documents:

Counselling Process

Candidates who pass the entrance exam and meet the eligibility requirements can take part in the DNB PDCET counselling 2026. The counselling results will show the roll number, rank, category, specialty, college or hospital name, and state. Those listed in the counselling results must secure their assigned seat and download the DNB PDCET 2026 allotment letter for the first round. Candidates need to go to the assigned college with their documents for verification and to complete the DNB PDCET admission process. After this, the authorities will hold the next rounds of counselling for DNB PDCET 2026.

There will be four rounds of DNB PDCET 2026 counselling, with the first three conducted online and the final round taking place offline at the NBE office in New Delhi. Candidates who do not register for the first round will not be able to join the later rounds. After registering, candidates must indicate their preferred courses and colleges for DNB PDCET admission. Those with higher merit positions can select their options after paying the counselling fee of Rs 2500/-. Admissions will be based on the choices made and the availability of seats.
