Those who were assigned seats in the first round must accept them online by July 18, 2024. Qualified candidates are required to attend an interview and personal assessment on July 18.

The AIIMS BSc nursing exam for 2024 took place on June 8 and 9. The first stage of the AIIMS BSc nursing post-basic exam was held on July 6, 2024. The application form for AIIMS BSc nursing 2024 closed on April 26, 2024, after registrations began on March 5, 2024. Those who want to take the AIIMS BSc nursing exam must complete the online application form for 2025. The registration process has two parts: basic registration and final registration. Only registered candidates will receive the AIIMS BSc nursing admit card for 2024.

Candidates who took the AIIMS B.Sc. (H) nursing entrance exam answered 100 multiple-choice questions within 120 minutes. For the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) exam, candidates will answer 70 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes (1.5 hours).

AIIMS will announce the course-wise nursing results based on the entrance exam. Male nurses who completed their training before the new integrated course in 2003 must be registered as nurses with the State Nursing Council. They should have a General Nursing certificate and have completed six months of training in one of the following areas instead of Midwifery:

- Ophthalmic Nursing
- Leprosy Nursing
- TB Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing
- Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
- Cancer Nursing
- Orthopaedic Nursing.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates taking their class 12 exams or similar exams in March/April 2025 can apply for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, Bachelor of Optometry, and B.Sc. (Hons.) Medical Technology in Radiography courses.

- OBC Certificates must be valid for Central Government institutions and within the specified validity period.
- Disability Certificate must follow approved guidelines

AIIMS Nursing 2024 BSc (H)

AIIMS, New Delhi will hold the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025 counselling after the results are announced. Candidates must register for the counselling and select their preferred choices. Admissions for AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025 will be based on the choices made by the candidates.

Shortlisted candidates need to confirm whether they accept or decline their assigned seats and must report to the designated college to enroll. The counselling process will follow the order of General/ST/SC/OBC categories. The counselling will be conducted based on a combined merit list.

1. Register for the counselling.
2. Choose and lock preferences for the Mock Round.
3. Receive MOCK results.

5. Seat Allocation.
6. Candidates must accept or decline the allocated seat.

After allocation, candidates have the following options:

• Option 1: ACCEPT the assigned seat. Candidates cannot join further rounds.
   
• Option 2: ACCEPT the assigned seat and wish to take part in the 2nd Round.
   
• Option 3: DECLINE the assigned seat and do not want to continue in the counselling process.
   
• Option 4: DECLINE the assigned seat but wish to participate in the 2nd round of Seat Allocation.

Who can participate in the 2nd Round of AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025 Allotment?

Candidates who select option 2 or 4 after the seat allotment announcement and wish to join the second round. Also, all candidates who did not receive a seat in the first round.

Who cannot participate in the 2nd Round of allotment?

Candidates who do not report to express their options after the seat allotment. These candidates will be eligible for the open round of counseling.

Note: Candidates can change their preferences for institutions and subjects in all rounds.

Final Round of Seat Allotment for AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025

The final round of counseling for AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025 will take place offline, requiring candidates to attend in person.

Key rules for this round include:

Any vacant ST seat, after all eligible ST candidates have been called, will first be offered to an SC candidate and vice versa. If the seat remains unfilled, it will then be available to eligible General Category candidates. 
Vacant OBC seats, after all eligible OBC candidates have been called, will be offered to eligible General Category candidates. 
Changes in institution or subject, even within the same institution, will only be allowed after paying a penalty fee via Demand Draft.

Candidates must submit the following original documents along with a set of self-attested copies:

• Matriculation/High School/Higher Secondary certificate from the Board/University showing the applicant's date of birth.

Applicants for the B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) program must provide the following documents during their personal assessment, in addition to those previously listed:
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery certificate.
- For male nurses who completed their training before the new integrated course started in 2003, proof of registration with the State Nursing Council is required.
- Male nurses must also submit a certificate in General Nursing with at least 6 months of training in one of the following areas:
 - Operation Theatre Techniques
 - Ophthalmic Nursing
 - Leprosy Nursing
 - TB Nursing
 - Psychiatric Nursing
 - Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
 - Community Health Nursing
 - Cancer Nursing
 - Orthopaedic Nursing
- Mark sheets must also be included.
- Certificate of Registration as a Nurse and Midwife from the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.

Reporting for Admission:

All candidates who are selected and medically fit must enroll in the course by paying the required fee by the given deadline; otherwise, they will lose their seat and any fees paid. 
Candidates should bring all original certificates/documents, which will be kept by the institute until they finish the course. 
Biometric verification will be conducted upon joining.

Important: Candidates currently enrolled in a B.Sc. course or an equivalent program who have not yet completed it may still be considered if they report to the relevant institute and submit original documents along with a demand draft of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand rupees) as a security deposit. This deposit will be refunded within 5 days after the original documents are submitted.
